Top 5 Mandurah Wedding Venues

Since moving to Mandurah 3 years ago I have fallen in love with the place! Surrounded by sun, sea and secluded beaches all to yourself there is nothing more you could ask for! This makes Mandurah a perfect place for a Wedding. It attracts 1000 of tourists so there is so many beautiful resorts and villas for your guests to stay in. These are some of my favourite venues:)

1. Mandurah Quay Resort
In the heart of mandurah, Forte Mandurah Quay is in a perfecct location with the perfect scenery for a wedding. You can arrive in style by boat and walk along the jetty on your special day! The resort provides luxurious accommodation so you can even spend your honeymoon right here in Mandurah. What more could you wish for?

2. Fairbridge

I had always heard of Fairbridge for its charity work and holding festivals in Mandurah but i am abeach girl so never really ventured inland to the peel region! With the new chocolate factory Decadent 'Cs and  other tourist attractions the peel region is a beautiful place to hold you Wedding.
Surrounded by Gardens, farmland and historical buildings you can get married in the wilderness. here are beautiful unique cottages for your guests to stay in.

The best part of Fairbridge for me is that all income from your wedding will go towards our charity work with disadvantaged young people.

3. Peel Manor House

For the ultimate Wedding this Georgian style Peel Manor House is the venue to impress and to wow you and your guests on your Wedding day! You can arrive by helicopter, horse and carriage limo.. you name it this is the venue for the ultimate wedding! And even better you are in the wine region of Mandurah surrounded by vineyards and beautiful blue skies!

4. Stingray Point
Not so much a venue as such but by far the best and most popular spot to get marries in Mandurah! With the beautiful sea breeze and the shade form the beautiful fig tree Stingray Point is the perfect place to say your vows and for great photo opportunities!

5. Munja Gardens

Another Beautiful Garden for a beautiful Wedding. I love that you can married outside in Australia. It is not allowed in some countries so I think everyone should embrace the beautiful weather and scenery and tie the knot outdoors! Munja Gardens are the perfect place for a family Wedding. Family owned and operated and totally dedicated to functions. It is the perfect place for a Wedding!

Purple the new ivory?

Recently I have had a few custom garter orders with a common theme...black and purple. They must be a very common colour this wedding season. I think the purple looks gorgeous!
Here is a beautiful custom garter in the Purple and Black colour theme.

Personalised, Edible and Budget Wedding Favours

Being a Wedding Photography gives you great insight into ideas for Weddings. There are so many elements to a Wedding no wonder it takes over a year to organise! You have everything organised from your flowers to even your Bridal Garter but what about your guests? One of the smaller but important elements to a Wedding are Wedding favours for your guests. They have become more of a necessity for some brides but I think they are more of a personal thank you  from you and your husband for your guests to take away with them. Here are some of my favourite Wedding favours the have featured in some of my Weddings.

These are a home made jam and relish made by the brides grand-mother. I think it is a really thoughtful and personal gift from the couple and it really reflected the vintage theme to their Wedding. By far my favourite idea! So personal but also great to stay within your Wedding Budget!

Another awesome idea for a Wedding is personalised Roc candy! Not only do your guests go away with lollies to eat, it is also personalised with you and your husbands/ wifes name! They make the perfect Wedding Favour. This hand crafted candy is crafted to your own design and choice of flavours, wedding bonbonierre is personalised and fun for your guests!

You may have noticed a running theme with these featured wedding favours so far... well I did! They are all personalised with the bride and grooms name but they are also all edible! I found a couple more edible wedding favours as featured in La Belle Bride.

These DIY Edible Wedding Favours make for the perfect gift to your guests... and who doesn't love chocolate! Edible gifts can also be packaged in any way to suit the theme of your wedding! Bonus!

As featured in The Knot this bonbonniere is handmade and personalised for your guests. At the end of the day chocolate is always going to be a winner!:-)
