How to choose your wedding colour theme?

As you are all aware i am a little obsessed with Vera Wang! She just ones up with new fresh ideas for wedding fashion and that is what is trending at the moment! Will you be opting for an alternative wedding dress this season?

After her Black inspired collection, I have recently discovered her beautiful grey toned dresses! Who would have thought you could look like such a Princess in Grey!?

I was so inspired by this dress that I put a little grey treasury together so that your whole wedding colour theme could be grey! If you don't want togo all grey for your wedding what a perfect colour to choose because there i no colour that doesn't go with grey! Especially PINK and Grey!! 

Vera had added a soft blush satin bridal Sash to this stunning grey gown and they compliment each other perfectly. The different coloured Wedding dresses are perfect for a second marriage or that alternative wedding because lets face it- we are constantly breaking tradition from where weddings once were!

To finish off todays blog I have found beautiful bridesmaids dresses in grey satin with pink bouquets! I love this colour combo!

Beautiful hair designs of 2014

Happy new year to all of your beautiful brides out there. I am so excited for what 2014 has to bring with new trends and styles for 2014 brides and for NB Garters!
The Great Gatsby theme is still going strong making a big impact of headwear for 2014.

Braid crowns are the in thing for your beautiful wedding hair so i thought i would give you a tutorial!!
I took the photos from Oncewed because the photos are so beautiful. Why not try it today!

1. Part hair down middle. Secure one side of the hair with a clip or elastic so it doesn’t get mixed in with the other side.

2. Grab a section of hair at the nape of the neck. Split into three.

3. Start to do an INSIDE-OUT French braid (instead of crossing sections over each other, cross under).

4+5. Continue braiding inside-out, wrapping around the side of the head.

6. You’ll cross the forehead and finish the braid. Secure with a hair tie. Let braid hang whilst you braid the second side.

7. Grab a section of hair at the top of the head and split into three.

8. Start to do an INSIDE-OUT French braid down the side of the head.  Finish the braid and secure with an elastic.

9. Take braid and wrap around the back of the head.

10. Secure with Bobbi pins. Tuck and hide small tail under the other braid. Grab the braid resting on the forehead and secure with Bobbi pins. Tuck tail under other braid.

Choosing your wedding Dress, Celebrity Dresses and all things Vera Wang!...

I have been memorised recently by the designs of Vera Wang. Everyone knows her as brilliant designer but she is also one of the most chosen designers by celebrities for her brilliant craftsmanship for wedding dresses!

There is a Vera Wang Wedding dress store in Sydney which I would definitely make at trip for just to have a look at her dresses! I love how she has a whole range that are red, cream and black not just the conventionally white dress!! BLACK! Who would think to wear a Black dress on their wedding day! But I have seen photos and the bride just looks stunning!! What do you think?

I think that is is great to continue with traditions in weddings otherwise where would NB Garters stand?:) ...but vera' s revolutionised wedding dresses and taken them to the next level!

By using such delicate materials of organza, tulle, silk and lace these dresses will transform your wedding day!

Vera is so popular with celebrities at the moment too! Hillary Duff wears a Vera Wang Mermaid dress which transforms her in to a princess! She looks so grown up with her hair up too!:) This dress i great for slim or curvy girls. I just love how the vintage style mermaid dress is fitted down to her thigh I think it is so sexy! 

Kim Kardashian also chose Vera Wang for her wedding! She looks like PRINCESS! She didn't just have one dress! Kim wore 3 different Wang dresses on her big day!:) A great idea if you can't choose which dress to wear!

Since moving to Mandurah 3 years ago I have fallen in love with the place! Surrounded by sun, sea and secluded beaches all to yourself there is nothing more you could ask for! I had always heard of Fairbridge for its charity work and holding festivals in Mandurah but i am abeach girl so never really ventured inland to the peel region! With the new chocolate factory Decadent 'Cs and  other tourist attractions the peel region is a beautiful place to hold you Wedding.

Surrounded by Gardens, farmland and historical buildings you can get married in the wilderness. here are beautiful unique cottages for your guests to stay in. 

The best part of Fairbridge for me is that all income from your wedding will go towards our charity work with disadvantaged young people.

3. Peel Manor House

For the ultimate Wedding this Georgian style Peel Manor House is the venue to impress and to wow you and your guests on your Wedding day! You can arrive by helicopter, horse and carriage limo.. you name it this is the venue for the ultimate wedding! And even better you are in the wine region of Mandurah surrounded by vineyards and beautiful blue skies!

4. Stingray Point
Not so much a venue as such but by far the best and most popular spot to get marries in Mandurah! With the beautiful sea breeze and the shade form the beautiful fig tree Stingray Point is the perfect place to say your vows and for great photo opportunities!

Another Beautiful Garden for a beautiful Wedding. I love that you can married outside in Australia. It is not allowed in some countries so I think everyone should embrace the beautiful weather and scenery and tie the knot outdoors! Munja Gardens are the perfect place for a family Wedding. A lot of inspiration has been taken from the Royal Wedding of 2011 with Princess Kate's dress. Long sleeves and lace wedding dresses are making a come back once again, a trend that comes and goes but can make a dress look very couture and vintage so thats always a win.

And lastly for your wedding reception decor natural materials and wood are looking very trendy with more and more environmentally friendly brides tie the knot. Try some tall centerpieces on your reception tables to pack a big visual punch and to save room on the tables for your guests. (thats one of my biggest hates at a wedding, is when the table is cluttered theres no where to put my arms or my camera).
